The former Super Eagles attacker, Victor Ikpeba has expressed his disappointment towards the NFF, as well as the Super Falcons’ handler, Randy Waldrum, over not selecting Desire Oparanozie for the squad which will participate at the Women’s Cup tour in Turkey.

The Former Super Falconets’ attacker, Desire Oparanozie has not featured for the Super Falcons, since 2019, due to the protest the team had with the Football Federation, over unpaid football bonuses. She has also not been included as part of the squad to represent Nigeria at the tournament in Turkey.
In a brief Chat later Sports 247, Ikpeba slammed the NFF and the Super Falcon’s Coach, Randy Waldrum for not including the Dijon Ladies attacker to the who will represent Nigeria at the Women’s cup tour in turkey, stating that Oparanozie did no harm in voicing out her opinion on the state of the players, during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
“There should be no sentiment about inviting Oparanozie for the tournament in Turkey. She remains the most consistent player on the team in terms of playing regular football”.
“I see nothing wrong if Oparanozie decided to voice out her mind on the situation of the players during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup,” the former Nigeria international stated.
Desire Oparanozie plays for Dijon Ladies in France.
