A fan base club, comprising mainly Professionals who have excelled in their different fields of endeavors , named, Up Plateau United has branded the new team bus recently donated by Governor Simon Lalong in the full colours of the team.
Presenting the branded bus to the management of the team, Chairman of the fans club, Isaac Sanda said the essence of branding the bus is their own little way of complementing government efforts in sponsoring the team.
Sanda explained that the fans club who came into existence five years ago is passionate about the team and will continue to support the team to enable it achieve its target.
” We will continue to do more in order to motivate the team to achieve glory in the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL
The fans club Chairman assured management of the club, they will not relent in their support to the team and urged them to brace up for the challenges ahead and ensure victory in subsequent matches.
Receiving the branded bus from the fans club, General Manager of the club, Pius Henwan who was elated with the gesture thanked the group for initiating the project and urged other public spirited individuals to emulate the fans club.
Henwan noted that the gesture which comes to him as a surprise will not only spur the players , but it will go a long way in complementing government sponsorship of the team.
” Am really short of words with this laudable gesture. I want to use this medium to challenge our main supporters club to emulate this group so as to complement management efforts in sponsoring the team.
Plateau United will launch the branded bus this weekend as they travel to Uyo to keep a date with Akwa United in a week eleven fixtures of the Nigeria Professional Football League slated for the Godswil Akpabio International Stadium this Saturday.
