Vandrezzer FC acting head coach, Madaki Mustapha Alfred has admitted that he’s under pressure but wants to build the team in his own image.
Vandrezzer won Nilayo FC 1-0 on Saturday in the 2021 Nigerian National League (NNL) season which was coach Alfred’s first game in charge of the team.
He hopes to build the team into his image but accepts that it’s a gradual process that will take time.
“I am [under pressure]. It’s not an easy task so we give God the glory we won,” Alfred told Awijare News.
“I hope in our subsequent games we carry the winning mentality there. We hope to do better and keep on doing better.
“To put this team in the shape I really want is a gradual build up. And we started effecting gradually, with time I think they will all understand what we are trying to put on ground.
“We are still going to play a lot of games so we want to take it one at a time. God will help us through.” he added.
