After finishing 6th last season while playing at the New Jos Stadium, Lobi Stars relocated to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, at the start of 2024/2025 campaign. However, the move proved disastrous—no wins in three home matches and a season marked by disappointment. Their last game in Bauchi ended in a 0-2 defeat against Niger Tornadoes, leaving them stranded at the bottom of the NPFL table with just 23 points from 27 matches.
