With the roar of millions behind them, the Super Eagles are set for battle! Head Coach Éric Sékou Chelle has unveiled his final 23-man squad for Nigeria’s high-stakes 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe—two fixtures that could shape the team’s journey to football’s biggest stage.

From the rock-solid presence of captain William Troost-Ekong to the electric pace of Victor Osimhen, Chelle has struck a balance between seasoned warriors and emerging talents. The squad features trusted defenders like Calvin Bassey and Ola Aina, midfield maestros Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi, and attacking firepower from the likes of Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze.

Notably, Czech Republic-based Igoh Ogbu earns his spot, alongside homegrown sensation Papa Daniel Mustapha and Belgium-based striker Tolu Arokodare. These fresh faces will be eager to prove themselves on the grand stage.
