Beyond Limits Football Academy sent a powerful message to the rest of the Nigeria National League Southern Conference A on Saturday evening after dismantling experienced Sunshine Stars 3-0 to move to the top of the table at the end of Matchday 7.
In a contest that pitted youth against experience, the Owena Boys arrived with pedigree and pedigree alone, as they struggled to cope with the pace, agility and tactical intelligence of a fearless Beyond Limits side driven by ambition and belief.

From the opening whistle, Beyond Limits dictated the tempo, pressing aggressively and moving the ball with purpose. Sunshine Stars attempted to settle into the game, but the youthful hosts refused to allow them any rhythm, closing spaces quickly and forcing errors across the pitch.
Despite several early probing moves, the first half remained goalless until the 40th minute when Beyond Limits finally broke the resistance. Abdulmuiz Oladimeji timed his late run into the box perfectly, meeting a well-weighted cutback before slamming a superb finish into the top corner to ignite celebrations around the stadium.
The goal crowned a dominant first-half performance and sent Beyond Limits into the break with a deserved 1-0 advantage.
Sunshine Stars returned for the second half hoping to respond, but Beyond Limits showed maturity beyond their years. Just before the hour mark, Saka Yusuf doubled the lead, calmly tapping in from six yards after sustained pressure carved open the visitors’ defence.
With a two-goal cushion, Beyond Limits grew in confidence, controlling possession and managing the game intelligently while Sunshine Stars chased shadows. Any hopes of a late comeback were completely extinguished in the 84th minute when Taiwo produced a moment of brilliance, spotting the goalkeeper off his line and executing a sublime long-range lob to make it 3-0.

The final whistle confirmed a statement victory and a night to remember for Beyond Limits FA, whose rise to the summit was also aided by Crown FC’s 1-1 draw against Inter Lagos FC. That result ensured Beyond Limits leapfrogged from third place to first position at the end of the matchday.
Beyond Limits FA’s blend of youth, discipline and tactical clarity continues to set them apart in the highly competitive Southern Conference A, with promotion now looking like a realistic target rather than a distant dream.
