The fireworks were loud and clear at Showtime Arena, Lekki, as Matchday 4 of the Flag Football Showtime Summer Series, sanctioned by the Nigeria Flag Football Federation, delivered big plays, big scores, and a major statement: L.A Knights and Warriors are on a collision course.

L.A Knights 41 – Off-SZN 13 Off-SZN came in hungry for redemption, but the L.A Knights came in hungry for perfection. Dabo Green lit up the scoreboard with two early touchdowns and then electrified the crowd with a stunning throw-off return TD to open the second half. It was prime-time stuff from Showtime’s top team.

Off-SZN’s Prisca and Chimobi showed flashes of brilliance with touchdowns of their own, but the Knights kept pressing. Audu Salamatu, Adams, and Afeye piled on the points, and Giovanni’s late-game interception shut the door. That’s a 4–0 record for the Knights, who are now the team to beat.

Warriors 55 – Greenbacks 0 What happens when two of the league’s most explosive teams meet? In this case, a Warriors takeover. They blanked the Greenbacks in dominant fashion, racking up 55 points and climbing to 4–0, right alongside the Knights. Misturah, Gbemisola, and Anu Bello—everyone showed up. The Greenbacks had no answer and dropped to 2–2.

Raptors 29 – Lagos Alpha 6 The Raptors quietly climbed up the standings, taking care of business against Lagos Alpha. A strong defensive effort and a sharp offensive display earned them a 29–6 win—and a move to fourth place, leapfrogging the Greenbacks.
