Seamoriow FC could not have asked for a better start to life in the Nationwide League One (NLO) as they cruised to a convincing 3-0 victory over Orin FC earlier today at the Maracana Stadium.

After sitting out the first matchday with a bye, Seamoriow FC finally stepped onto the pitch, brimming with energy and intent. From the first whistle, it was clear the 2025 LSFA Federation Cup quarter-finalists meant business. Their early pressing and hunger for goals set the tone for what would be a memorable debut performance.

It took only 11 minutes for Seamoriow FC to find their breakthrough. Abass Adeniyi was at the right place at the right time, calmly slotting home from close range to give his side a deserved 1-0 lead. The early goal sent ripples of excitement through the home fans, who had been eagerly waiting to see their team in action.

Seamoriow FC didn’t take their foot off the gas. In the 38th minute, Salako Paul doubled the lead with a clinical finish, rewarding Seamoriow’s dominant play and piling further pressure on Orin FC, who struggled to contain the waves of attack.

As the game wore on, Seamoriow’s confidence grew. Their defense stayed organized, snuffing out any sign of a comeback from Orin FC. The final blow came in the 83rd minute when Babatunde Ismail added a third goal, putting the result beyond doubt and sealing a dream debut.

This emphatic win not only gives Seamoriow FC their first three points of the NLO One season but also boosts morale as they look ahead to tougher challenges. After a strong run in the LSFA Federation Cup earlier this year, this team is clearly building momentum and establishing themselves as a team to watch.

For Orin FC, there will be lessons to learn from this encounter as they regroup and prepare for their next fixture. For Seamoriow FC, however, this victory marks a perfect beginning — full of promise, energy, and the belief that they belong at this level.

Up next: Seamoriow FC will aim to build on this performance as they continue their NLO One campaign, with fans now daring to dream of bigger achievements this season.
