Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council Announces the League Management Committee (LMC) of the Ajegunle All Stars Above 40 League

The Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council, a creation of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, Lagos, has announced the formation of its LMC for the upcoming season. The committee is comprised of experienced individuals with a passion for football and a commitment to promoting the sport in the Ajegunle community.

The League Management Committee is led by Peter Okereke, who also doubles as the CEO of Paddysco Sports Limited, a sportspreneur who is renowned for his vast experience in player management and sports administration.

Shola Omojoye, who is President of Sholly Sports Limited and also the Unit Head of Football in the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council, will serve as Secretary of the LMC.

Other members include versatile journalist and grassroots football promoter Asiwaju Akeem Busari, who is the media and publicity officer of the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council. Also on the committee is Afinjuomo Oluwadare Nelson, a member of Tolu All Stars, who is expected to bring valuable insights into the LMC. Sportscaster Princewill Gbogbodu is also a member of the committee.

Speaking on the much-anticipated football league, the Director-General of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council, McAnthony Anaelechukwu, expressed his excitement about the forthcoming tournament for retired footballers, business executives, and football enthusiasts who are above 40 years old.

“We are excited to announce the formation of our League Management Committee, which will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Ajegunle All Stars League. With our experienced members, we are confident that we can take the league to new heights and provide a platform for experienced talents who are above 40 years old to recreate and stay in tiptop shape,” McAnthony said.

The Ajegunle All Stars League is committed to promoting football development in the community and providing opportunities for players above 40 years to showcase their skills. With this LMC in place, the league is poised for success and growth
