A bold new era may be on the horizon for the Oluyole Warriors as Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami officially steps in as the new Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan. The respected sports administrator and businessman made his intentions clear during his first official engagement with the club’s management and staff on Tuesday afternoon.

Speaking at the club’s headquarters in Jericho, Ibadan, Salami addressed the club’s top leadership, including General Manager Dimeji Lawal, Director of Finance and Administration Mrs. Abiodun Oyeyemi, Administrative Secretary Babayemi Akintomiwa, and Technical Adviser Gbenga Ogunbote. His message was one of hope, transformation, and commitment to the long-term success of the club.
“I am delighted to be here, and I want to assure you that there will be massive changes, both within the office and on the field,” Taiwo Salami said, addressing both administrative staff and the coaching crew. “This is not just a position for me; it is a mission to restore the pride and competitiveness of 3SC.”
Salami, who was accompanied by Engineer Sheriff, used the occasion to engage deeply with the team, asking pertinent questions about the current state of the club and laying the foundation for his vision. His approach was both strategic and personal — he emphasized collaboration and transparency as core values in the journey to reposition 3SC among Nigeria’s football elite.
