In what was arguably the most emotional game of the day, Nath Boys FC capitalized on an early blunder to edge Goal Getters FC 1-0. A weak shot in the opening stages of the match was parried directly into the path of Ayodeji Olayinka (No. 11), who calmly slotted it home.

Despite relentless pressure from Goal Getters throughout the second half, the Nath Boys defense held firm, securing a gritty victory and a spot in the next round.

Diadem Stallion Survive Bucknor FC in Penalty Shootout

The third fixture was a nail-biter as Diadem Stallion and Bucknor FC ended regulation time tied at 1-1. Jimoh Jelili (No. 17) scored for Diadem Stallion, while Bucknor FC’s equalizer came from Adebayo Timmy.

With the match undecided after full-time, the lottery of penalties ensued. Diadem Stallion kept their composure to clinch a 5-3 win in the shootout and sealed their progression in dramatic fashion.

In the final match of the day, Believe FA scored a goal in each half to ease past Chekas FC 2-0. Abdulahi Umar (No. 8) opened the scoring early, while David Samuel (No. 4) sealed the win with a late goal.
