Standing tall among them was Lagos State’s own Faro Abdulrahman, who earned the prestigious award of Overall Best Referee of the tournament.
Faro’s performance across the tournament drew admiration from players, fans, and officials alike. Calm, firm, and consistent, his officiating brought a rare level of composure and authority to each of the three matches he handled. These included high-stakes fixtures like the opener between Wikki Tourists and Doma United, the keenly contested match between Crown FC and Osun United, and the crucial encounter between Wikki Tourists and Yobe Desert Stars.
