The Big Brother Naija 10/10 season continues to stir emotions as two housemates, Oghenetega Eritomi (popularly known as Otega) and Prince Oluwakayikunmi Ajibade (Kayikunmi), were evicted from the house in a dramatic Sunday live show.

Otega, who became the third housemate to be evicted after Danboskid and Ibifubara, left the house shortly before Kayikunmi followed him through the eviction doors. Their exits mark yet another turning point in what has been a tension-filled and unpredictable season.

Otega’s Journey in the BBNaija House

At 32, Otega entered the Big Brother 10/10 House with a vision to challenge himself and embrace new experiences. A proud Delta State native, he is a chef, photographer, and developer who once transitioned from a career in tech to food.

According to him, the switch to cooking became more than a profession; it was a reconnection to culture, memory, and community. “Cooking isn’t just about ingredients or technique,” he once shared. “It’s about memory, heritage, and care.”

In the house, Otega stayed true to his personality: calm, authentic, and deeply reflective. He admitted that his nonchalant nature and quiet detachment often made him seem distant, but he prided himself on being real and uninterested in shallow interactions.

Otega defined himself as a multifaceted creative and had hoped his depth and artistry would carry him far. However, his eviction proved that sometimes the quieter players struggle to survive in the competitive and loud Big Brother arena.

Kayikunmi’s Time Cut Short

Hot on Otega’s heels came Kayikunmi, a 25-year-old banker from Ekiti State, known for his humour, loud energy, and mischievous streak. Standing at 5’11” and openly describing himself as fun-loving and controversial, Kayikunmi was never shy about his intentions in the house.

His reason for joining Big Brother Naija was simple and bold: “I’m in it for the money, the fame, and the creative fulfilment. And let’s be honest, a bit of drama and controversy can be captivating too.”

Unlike Otega’s calm aura, Kayikunmi thrived on noise and mischief, traits that made him both entertaining and polarizing. His close bond with fellow housemate Isabela gave the show some light-hearted romantic tension, but it wasn’t enough to save him from eviction.

In his personal reflections, Kayikunmi often described his family as his anchor, particularly his father, whom he called the “coolest dad” for their shared adventures, from clubbing to polo. Despite his strong personality, Kayikunmi confessed to his irritating habit: not minding his business and sometimes being “annoyingly loud”.

Another Narrow Escape for Ivatar

While Otega and Kayikunmi packed their bags, housemate Ivatar narrowly survived eviction, echoing Denari’s lucky escape last week. The close calls have made fans increasingly anxious as the competition tightens and alliances are tested.

The Eviction That Redefines the Game

The exit of Otega and Kayikunmi changes the dynamics of the BBNaija 10/10 house. Otega’s reflective calm and Kayikunmi’s spirited energy brought different flavours to the show. Their departure leaves fans wondering who will step into the spotlight next and whether quieter players can survive the stormy waves of reality television.

As Big Brother Naija 10/10 moves into the next phase, one thing is certain: no housemate is truly safe
