BBNaija Day 37 Nominations Shake the House as 19 Housemates Face Eviction Drama
Mensan, Faith, and Zita escape the axe while food fights, alliances, and chaos define a tense nomination day

The Big Brother Naija house entered Day 37 with emotions running high as the nomination process took center stage. What began as a thrilling hunt for red envelopes quickly turned into a nightmare for most of the housemates, with only a few managing to secure immunity while others were left vulnerable.
The twist this week revolved around the red envelope game. Biggie instructed the housemates to search for envelopes hidden across the house, each containing a card that revealed their fate. For most, the cards carried the dreaded message of possible eviction. For a select few, however, it was a lifeline.

Joanna, already on the chopping block as the designated House Snail, was forced to sit out the challenge and watch the chaos unfold.
In a dramatic reveal, Mensan struck gold when his card promised immunity, guaranteeing his stay for another week. Faith, who had already enjoyed a double immunity from his Head of House victory, was handed even more power: the ability to save one housemate. After much thought, he chose to protect Zita, ensuring she also avoided eviction this week.
That left 19 housemates facing the axe in one of the toughest nomination rounds yet.
But nominations were only part of the evening’s drama. Faith’s Head of House reign, already defined by his “bare minimum” theme, took a controversial turn. He attempted to impose order on the house by appointing three kitchen prefects and rationing food supplies. His plan backfired spectacularly.

What began as a rationing strategy spiraled into a food war. Arguments broke out over bread and sardines, with Imisi and Joanna clashing in a heated exchange that saw insults fly and tempers flare. At one point, Imisi pulled bread from her shirt in defiance, sparking laughter from Mensan and Kola, while Faith tried to reassert control.
The situation escalated further when Imisi threatened to starve herself, prompting Thelma Lawson to declare that she would prevent others from eating in solidarity. The kitchen became the epicenter of conflict as housemates split into alliances and quietly strategized about the weeks ahead.
Behind the heated arguments, the game’s true nature emerged: survival. Faith was later seen discussing strategy with Rooboy, making it clear that he saw Imisi’s behavior as an act of disrespect toward Biggie rather than himself.
