The excitement is reaching fever pitch as the finalists for both the men’s and women’s football events of the 2025 Lagos State Head of Service Games have been confirmed.

In the men’s category, defending champions Health Service Commission (HSC) continued their dominant run with a convincing 4–0 victory over the State Treasury Office (STO) to book a return ticket to the final. With that emphatic win, the HSC squad now stand on the brink of retaining their title and cementing their status as one of the most formidable teams in the civil service football arena.

Their opponents, Judiciary FC, had to battle through a nerve-wracking semi-final encounter to earn their spot. The team edged out the Public Service Office (PSO) in a 4–2 penalty shootout victory after the two sides had settled for a thrilling 2–2 draw in regulation time. The victory marked a major milestone for the Judiciary team, who are now gunning for their first title in recent years.

Meanwhile, SUBEB secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory over the Health Service Commission, setting up yet another classic clash between two of the competition’s most consistent teams.
