Ikeja DFA/HRA Women’s League 2025: Registration Opens for Lagos Female Football Clubs

Ikeja, Lagos — The stage is set for another exciting chapter in grassroots women’s football as registration officially opens for the 2025 Ikeja DFA/HRA Women’s League. Female football clubs within and around the Ikeja Division are now invited to register and be part of the fast-growing regional competition that continues to empower women and promote local talent.

The Ikeja Divisional Football Association (DFA), in partnership with the Honourable Representative Association (HRA), has announced key dates ahead of the much-anticipated kickoff.

According to the official schedule, registration opens on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and will run until Saturday, October 25, 2025. The official draw ceremony for the league will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, while the league officially kicks off on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Participating clubs are required to pay a ₦5,000 registration fee and a ₦5,000 affiliation fee to complete their registration.

For more information, interested teams are advised to visit the DFA Secretariat at the Agege Stadium Complex, Agege, or call 08023621513 for assistance.

The 2025 edition is powered by Honourable Oluseyi Jakande, the Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, whose continued support has strengthened the development of women’s football across Lagos communities.

The Ikeja DFA/HRA Women’s League has become a vital platform for discovering young female talents and giving local clubs a chance to compete at a high level. The tournament also serves as a pathway for many players who aspire to join professional teams in the Nigerian Women’s Football League (NWFL).
