Nigeria’s world-renowned hurdler delivered a stellar performance at the prestigious Ostrava Golden Spike meet in the Czech Republic, clocking an impressive 12.45 seconds to win the women’s 100-meter hurdles.

From the gun, it was all Amusan. The reigning African and Commonwealth Games champion looked sharp and confident as she breezed past the field, leaving no doubt about her form as the 2024 season heats up.

Her closest challengers, Viktória Forster and Sarah Lavin, could only watch from behind as Amusan crossed the line in dominant fashion. Forster finished second with a season-best of 12.74 seconds, while Lavin took third in 12.76 seconds, also a season-best.
