We are punished because we are wasteful – Adeshina Yusuf

The Chief Coach of Team Lagos, Adeshina Yussuf has blamed wastefulness for the reason his lads lost their first game inside the Soccer Temple this morning.

In a friendly match played against Enugu based NNL team, Giant Brillars fc, The National Sports Festival bound team were defeated two goals to one in a match they dominated from the beginning to the end.

This fourth match in a role that Team Lagos will not win. The victory drought began with goaless against Joy Cometh before losing 0-2 to Gateway fc inside the MKO Stadium, Abeokuta. They were almost running away with as surprised victory against NPFL side, MFM Internationa fc, before they conceded a penalty during the twilight of the match

In as much as Coach Adeshina is worried about his lad’s inability to convert their numerous chances into goal. He’s not bothered about the result of the recent matches because of the standard of the team’s they played.

According to the experienced gaffer, “the boys played very well today. We even played better than some games that we won in the past, but we were punished because we are wasteful.”

We shall however correct some mistakes we noticed in this game as we continubuild-upild up to the National Sports Festival
