Sporting Lagos FC and First Bank FC have booked their places in the semifinals of the LSFA President and Federation Cup after hard-fought victories in today’s quarterfinal clashes.

Sporting Lagos made light work of Box 2 Box FC, scoring two quick goals in the second half after a 1-1 first-half draw. Goals from Usman (39’), Aliu (76’), and Solomon (88’) sealed the win—just as they did against the same opponents at this stage last year.

For First Bank FC, it was a tougher battle. Despite Nath Boys dominating and hitting the crossbar and goalposts multiple times, a decisive 80th-minute goal was enough to send First Bank through.

Semifinal Fixtures:

Sporting Lagos FC 🆚 Winner of Ikorodu City FC vs Seamoriow FC
First Bank FC 🆚 Winner of 1472 FC vs Inter Lagos
