Nigeria’s senior women’s football team, the Super Falcons, have successfully maintained their position at 36th in the latest FIFA global rankings, as announced on March 6, 2025. This achievement highlights their continued prominence on the global stage, as well as their unwavering dominance on the African continent, where they remain the top-ranked women’s football team.

With South Africa, Morocco, Zambia, and Ghana rounding out the top five teams in Africa, it’s clear that women’s football is making significant strides across the continent.

On the global stage, the top 10 teams according to the latest FIFA rankings include:
