A Campaign of Grit, Setbacks, and Glory

Bayelsa Queens’ road to the championship was a story of resilience, ambition, and class. They kicked off their Super Six campaign with a narrow 1-0 victory over perennial rivals Rivers Angels, followed by a solid 2-0 win against Remo Stars Ladies. A 1-1 draw against Nasarawa Amazons showcased their competitive edge, but their 17-match unbeaten run was halted by a 1-0 loss to Edo Queens on matchday four.

That defeat could have derailed a less determined team, but for Bayelsa Queens, it was a wake-up call. They returned stronger and more focused.
