No Team Is Unbeatable at the National Sports Festival, Says Lagos Volleyball Coach

The coach of the Lagos female volleyball team, Taiwo Oladipupo, has made a bold statement following his side’s dominant victory over Nasarawa in their second match at the 22nd National Sports Festival in Ogun State. According to Oladipupo, no team at the tournament is unbeatable, and his team is ready to overcome any challenge.

In an interview with our reporter after the match, Oladipupo emphasized the importance of following tactical instructions, which his players executed flawlessly. The team’s consistency on the court was a key factor in their success, and the coach highlighted that the improvement in their performance was a result of refining their strategies since their first match.

“The game against Nasarawa was easier for us because we corrected the mistakes from our first game. The players raised their level of play significantly, and we won with a straight-sets victory over Kaduna,” Oladipupo explained. “My team executed exactly what I instructed, and it was a comfortable win. No team is particularly special here. I believe in my team’s ability to beat any opponent. I don’t give preference to any side.”

The Eko girls triumphed 3-0 over Kaduna in their second group match, and now they are focused on advancing to the next round of the competition. Their next hurdle is a clash with the host team, Ogun, which Oladipupo believes will be another chance for his team to show their superiority.
