First-choice shot-stopper Henry Ani from Enyimba leads a competitive goalkeeping unit that also includes Kayode Bankole (Remo Stars), Nurudeen Badmus (Kwara United), Lawal Mustapha (Shooting Stars), and Ebenezer Harcourt (Sporting Lagos).

The defensive lineup boasts strong names such as Waliu Ojewole, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, Uzondu Harrison, and Mohammed Kabiru, along with Rangers International’s Junior Harrison Nduka and Sodiq Ismaila of Remo Stars.

In midfield, the Super Eagles B have a rich mix of creative and defensive players, including Saviour Isaac, Haddi Haruna, Adam Aminu, and Adejoh Ojonugwa. The attacking options feature Sunday Megwo, Adamu Abubakar, Godwin Obaje, and in-form striker Atule Joseph.

Nigeria, who finished as runners-up in the 2018 edition, have been drawn in Group D of the 19-nation competition. They will face reigning champions Senegal, Sudan, and Congo. The team’s first two group matches will be played at the Amman Stadium in Zanzibar before rounding off their group campaign against Congo at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
