What seemed like a regular day on social media suddenly turned into a digital battleground when popular reality TV star Tacha and renowned writer and motivational speaker Solomon Buchi locked horns in a fiery exchange that got everyone talking.
Tacha, who has spent the past few months in the United Kingdom working on her content creation brand, recently returned to Nigeria. She posted a heartwarming video from Lagos, showing fans crowding around her with cheers and excitement. Her caption, “Lagos Lagos, Big Tee is in,” sparked waves of admiration from followers who missed her presence.

However, things quickly took a sharp turn.
The Origin of the Gbas Gbos
Solomon Buchi, known for his hot takes on relationships, identity, and lifestyle, shared a subtle yet pointed opinion shortly after Tacha’s celebratory post went viral. He suggested that many Nigerian celebrities feel unseen in the UK and often crave the dramatic fanfare they receive back home.
He wrote, in essence, that the reason some celebrities “don’t like Nigerians in the UK” is because the hype culture is different—people won’t chase after fame like they do in Nigeria.
This didn’t sit well with Tacha.

Tacha Fires Back
In no time, Tacha clapped back. She accused Solomon of being bitter and claimed he had no right to speak on her. She alleged that he lives in a house paid for by his wife and branded him a “cry baby.”
Solomon, never one to hold back, responded with his own cutting words. He said he would rather be housed by a wife than be with someone who draws celebrity status “between her chest,” a not-so-subtle reference to Tacha’s famous tattoo of a global music icon.
He went further, saying that Tacha could never compare to his wife.

Things Escalate Further
At this point, fans and critics were locked into the digital drama. Tacha went on to claim that if Solomon could prove she was being “housed by someone’s husband”, she would pay his rent so his wife could finally relax. The back-and-forth grew increasingly personal, drawing both sympathy and outrage from onlookers.
Solomon admitted he couldn’t provide proof of his claims unless Tacha shared proof of hers. Eventually, perhaps exhausted by the backlash and Tacha’s relentless energy, he deleted most of his tweets — except the original one that sparked the drama.
Instagram Stories and Final Shots
Not one to back down, Tacha kept the momentum going on Instagram Stories. She reposted tweets mocking Solomon and highlighting how his wife allegedly hasn’t known peace since marrying him.
It was messy. It was loud. And it was classic social media gbas gbos.

And Just Like That… It’s Over (For Now)
Solomon Buchi has since moved on, returning to his regular motivational content. Meanwhile, Tacha is soaking up the love and attention in Lagos, clearly unfazed and very much in her element.
Regardless of whose side you’re on, one thing is clear — both personalities know how to trend and keep the internet buzzing.
Shout out to the both of them. Until the next drama.
