Zakaria Tindano’s Late Strike Seals WAFU B U20 Glory for Cote d’Ivoire over Nigeria

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria saw their WAFU B U20 title hopes dashed in the final moments of a tense contest on Wednesday as a late goal gifted Cote d’Ivoire a dramatic 1-0 victory in Accra, Ghana.

It was a final that matched expectations in intensity and grit. The young Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire, who had displayed incredible discipline and dominance throughout the tournament, were finally rewarded with the championship thanks to a stoppage-time winner from Zakaria Tindano.
