As the ongoing CAF U 23 Championship enters the crucial stage, a Nigerian referee, Fifa Sam Pwadutakam has been selected among the officials to handle the semi final encounter between Côte d Ivoire and Ghana scheduled for today while another quartet led by Joe Ogabor, Efosa Celestine Igudia, Isa Usman and Patience Ndidi Madu all FIFA referees finished handling the Nations Cup Qualifier; Cape Verde vs Mozambique.

The Cape Verde vs Mozambique played yesterday ended 2:2.

Buoyed by confidence the international football bodies have in Nigerian referees, the president of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, Otunba Tade Azeez while expressing happiness for the exploits whished the country’s ambassadors best of luck and journey mercies back home.
