Robo Queens Send A Clear Message In Lagos Derby

At the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Waterfront FC Robo Queens produced the most dominant performance of the midweek as they dismantled Lagos Dannaz Ladies 5-1 in a fiery Lagos derby.

Despite the belief that form often disappears in local rivalries, Robo Queens wasted no time asserting their authority. From the opening whistle they pressed high, moved the ball quickly and exposed every defensive lapse.

Kemi Adegbuyi opened the scoring in the sixth minute before Tosin Rafiu doubled the advantage three minutes later. Dannaz briefly threatened a comeback through Augusta Chukwuma, but that moment of hope was extinguished by Opeyemi Ajakaiye, who struck twice with the composure of a seasoned finisher. Robiat Yusuf put the result beyond doubt late on to complete a ruthless display.

With four wins from four, Robo Queens sit atop Group B with twelve points, sending a clear message to their closest challengers, who trail on eight points. For Dannaz Ladies, the heavy defeat drags them dangerously close to the relegation zone and raises urgent questions about their defensive organization.
