The voting exercise, conducted via the official NWFL WhatsApp Channel, attracted significant engagement from supporters across the country, reflecting the growing connection between fans and the women’s league. After a closely contested process, Kareem stood tall with 1,103 votes, the highest tally among five outstanding nominees.

Her match-winning goal proved decisive as Rivers Angels edged Ibom Angels 1-0 in a fiercely fought South-South derby. Blessing Ilivieda of Bayelsa Queens polled 430 votes, and Destiny Itobore of Delta Queens completed the list with 146 votes.
