Bayelsa State continues to shine at the Gateway Games 2024, as Oluwakemi Oladipo clinched another impressive Gold Medal for her state in the Women’s T53-54 100m Wheelchair Race. In a performance that left spectators in awe, Oladipo powered across the finish line with a time of 18.94 seconds, sealing her spot at the top of the podium.

Her celebration was nothing short of infectious, as Oladipo radiated joy and pride after achieving the ultimate success. The intensity and determination she displayed on the track were clear as she gave it her all, ensuring Bayelsa’s place in the spotlight once again.

Meanwhile, Chika Nwerem, also representing Delta State, rounded off the podium with a third-place finish, completing the race in 19.30 seconds.
