Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has opened up about her struggle to adapt to life in the spotlight, describing how the expectations of fame have forced her to change parts of her lifestyle.

At a recent public event, Imisi spoke candidly about how difficult it has been to maintain a consistent public image since becoming a celebrity. One of her biggest challenges, she admitted, is the pressure to always wear makeup and look camera-ready.

“I’d say having to put on makeup each time I step out, maybe for an event like this, really isn’t my thing. I don’t like things on my face, and I even hate hairs on my body,” Imisi revealed.

Known for her natural and down-to-earth personality during her time in the Big Brother Naija house, Imisi said she has always preferred simplicity over glamour. But the transition into stardom has come with its own rules.

“This is something I really need to adjust to. Honestly, I think I look good without all that, but because of what you’re trying to portray and how people expect you to appear, you’ve got to keep your hair, makeup, and nails done,” she added.

Imisi’s comments have sparked conversations online, with many fans praising her honesty and refreshing authenticity in an industry often defined by glitz and image.

Her openness about struggling to fit into celebrity expectations mirrors the reality for many stars who face pressure to maintain a certain look despite personal discomfort.

As the Season 10 champion of Big Brother Naija, Imisi continues to navigate her newfound fame while trying to stay true to the simple, confident woman that viewers loved during her time on the show.
