The refereeing team was led by Dr. Joseph Odey Ogabor, who served as the center referee. He was supported by Abdulmajid Olaide as Assistant Referee I, Muhammad Yakubu Mahamud as Assistant Referee II, and Abdulsalam Abiola Kasim as the Fourth Official. Together, the Nigerian quartet ensured the match flowed smoothly, maintaining firm control from the first whistle to the last without any major controversies.

The match also featured continental oversight with Hugues Alain Adjovi from Benin Republic, the Chairman of the CAF Referees Committee, acting as the Referees Assessor, while Yacoub Ali Elmi from Djibouti was appointed Match Commissioner.
