Bayelsa United 2-0 Barau FC Bayelsa United extended their perfect start to the season with a comfortable 2-0 victory at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa. Ofem opened the scoring with a brilliant finish before Wisdom converted a penalty in the 58th minute. Shuaibu sealed the win in the 74th, keeping Bayelsa United joint top of the league table.
Nasarawa United 1-0 Abia Warriors In Lafia, Nasarawa United claimed their first win of the season with a narrow 1-0 victory over Abia Warriors. Ugochukwu L. struck in the 10th minute and the hosts held firm to protect their advantage.

Kano Pillars 1-1 Wikki Tourists Kano Pillars avoided defeat at home against Wikki Tourists in a match that ended 1-1. Warri Wolves 2-0 Enugu Rangers Warri Wolves continued their strong start with a 2-0 win over Enugu Rangers. Godwin Oham broke the deadlock in the 48th minute and Prince Ebhohon sealed the points in the 77th. With two wins from two, Wolves are joint leaders alongside Bayelsa United.
Ikorodu City 0-0 El-Kanemi Warriors At the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, Ikorodu City and El-Kanemi Warriors battled to a goalless draw. Both sides created chances but failed to convert, leaving them with a point each.

Kun Khalifa 1-2 Remo Stars Defending champions Remo Stars bounced back from their opening day draw with a 2-1 away victory against Kun Khalifa FC. The home side struck first in the 16th minute through Ezeonye H. from the penalty spot. However, goals from Abubakar I. in the 70th and Olasupo S. in the 78th turned the game in Remo Stars’ favor.
