In an inspiring show of consistency and skill, Solademi Oluwatosin of the Lagos State Sports Commission has successfully defended her Women’s Tennis title at the 2025 Head of Service (HOS) Games, emerging as the back-to-back champion in one of the most competitive editions yet.
The talented player, visibly elated after her victory, expressed deep gratitude and pride as she received her gold medal, winner’s trophy, and cash reward at the event’s medal presentation ceremony in Lagos.

Speaking to Awijare Sports correspondent moments after her decoration, Oluwatosin couldn’t hide her excitement about her latest triumph and the quality of the 2025 HOS Games organization.
“I am so grateful to God because it wasn’t easy this year,” she said with a smile. “There were a lot of tough hands around this time. It was not business as usual, but I give glory to God Almighty for a successful outing.”
Her latest win cements her dominance in women’s tennis at the HOS Games, having also claimed the gold medal in 2024.

When asked if she intends to return next year for another title defense, the two-time champion remained optimistic yet humble.
“All things being equal, I’ll go back home and do the needful. I hope to come back next year and win it again,” she stated.
