The 2025/2026 season of The Creative Championship League (TCC League) kicked off this weekend with fireworks across different venues as 21 goals were scored in six matches. It was a weekend that had everything: ruthless finishing, emotional celebrations, late drama and a statement of intent from teams determined to set the tone early.

Dino SC Destroy Iganmu Tigers in Ijebu Ode

At the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode, Dino Sporting Club made the loudest noise of Matchday 1 with a stunning 6-0 demolition of Iganmu Tigers. By halftime, the scoreboard already read 5-0 in favor of Dino SC, who showed no mercy. A sixth goal after the restart sealed a perfect opening day.
Forward Asogbon Samuel was unstoppable, deservedly claiming the Man of the Match Award after orchestrating Dino’s attacking brilliance.

Beyond Limit FA Edge Sporting Lagos in Thriller

In Ikenne, newly crowned TCC Super Cup champions Beyond Limit FA squared up against Sporting Lagos FA in what turned out to be a pulsating contest.
Muiz Oladimeji’s 17th-minute strike gave Beyond Limit the lead, but Sporting Lagos fought back through Naziru Ishaq, who equalized in the 75th minute. Just when it seemed the spoils would be shared, Oreoluwa Agbenla smashed home a brilliant free kick in the 86th minute before substitute Daniel A added a third deep into stoppage time to seal a dramatic 3-1 victory.

Adebayo Inspires Gbagada Past Imperial

At the Legacy Pitch in Surulere, Gbagada FC secured a 2-1 win over Imperial FC thanks to an inspired performance from Idowu Adebayo. The forward struck in the 3rd minute and added another from the penalty spot in the 33rd. Imperial pulled one back in the 58th minute through Yemi, but Gbagada held on.
After the match, Adebayo emotionally dedicated his brace to his coach’s child, who celebrated a sixth birthday on the day. His performance earned him the Man of the Match Award.
