From the gun, it was all Amusan. The reigning African and Commonwealth Games champion looked sharp and confident as she breezed past the field, leaving no doubt about her form as the 2024 season heats up.

Her closest challengers, Viktória Forster and Sarah Lavin, could only watch from behind as Amusan crossed the line in dominant fashion. Forster finished second with a season-best of 12.74 seconds, while Lavin took third in 12.76 seconds, also a season-best.

After a mixed start to the season, this victory marks a significant confidence boost for Amusan, who is gradually hitting peak rhythm ahead of upcoming major competitions, including the Paris 2024 Olympics.

This performance is not just a win; it is a statement. The champion is getting back to her best, and the rest of the world should take notice.
